These Olympic Games might more low key than normal but they can still set the heart racing and the tears streaming.

Press Ups in the mud made a lasting impression. The passing of former Wales Manager Mike Smith this week reminded me of an important lesson learnt on a wet muddy football pitch over 40 years ago.

I’ve really enjoyed broadcasting during daylight hours again and the chance to learn lots more about my friends than I knew before. This opportunity came to me because the world has changed. I expect your world has changed too. We can’t turn back the clock or put the genie back in the bottle so maybe now is the time to embrace it.

I Still Think About You …Chris Needs! It was wonderful to be back performing again. Reopening the Grand Pavilion Porthcawl was a joy and responsibility but as I stood in that room I couldn’t help but think about the last time I had performed there.
